Choos mark the spot

Talking to a friend the other day I discovered two things. One that the King of Shoes, Jimmy Choo, recently organised a real-time treasure hunt for a pair of their trainers around London via Foursquare. And two, that Jimmy Choo make trainers. Yes, they really do.

One pair of Jimmy Choo trainers were checked in at various locations and those who followed the campaign and were lucky enough to arrive at a venue before the trainers left, got to pick a pair in the style and size of their choosing.

And true to the brand’s high profile, the trainers were checking in to trendy spots like Lounge Lover, The Hummingbird Bakery and the members-only Mortons.

Followers of the campaign could follow the trainers on Foursquare. While everybody else could be updated via Twitter.
