Killing time

You pack in a hurry. Rush to the airport. Dash to the check-in desk. And then… nothing. Waiting for your flight is bor-ring, especially if it’s delayed.

That’s why SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) brought out the TimeKiller app. But they didn’t create it for their passengers. Oh no. They created it for their competitors’ passengers. You see SAS has just scooped the award for being the most punctual airline – again, so they wanted to poke a little fun at the competition.

The app consists of four mini games. You’ve got: Spin the hamster, Blow the propeller, Hold that thought and Follow the footsteps. And although they’re all quite cool, they’re also mind-numbingly dull – but then that’s the point.

A great idea, brilliantly executed.
