Harry who?

It’s not just Harry Potter who has his own invisibility cloak. Mercedes-Benz has one too. They’ve used it to promote their new F-CELL hydrogen fuel cell technology. Instead of parading a flash new car, they turned one invisible. After all, it isn’t the car they’re trying to sell, it’s the technology.

With 0.0 emissions, an F-CELL Mercedes is invisible to the environment. Mercedes dramatised this through an impressive cloaking effect, by covering one side of the car with LEDs that played back a live feed from a camera mounted on the other side.

It hasn’t reached Hogwarts status just yet but it’s still managed to get over 8 million people talking about.
