Would you confess for the world to see if you knew you’d never be found out? Confessions is a public art project that invites people to anonymously share their confessions and see the confessions of the people around them in the heart of the Las Vegas strip.
It reminds me very much of Post Secret, which was apparently the inspiration behind it. One of the differences being, people could write and submit their confession there and then in the privacy of confession booths, whereas the Post Secret secrets were well, posted, more visual and from what I’ve read, a lot darker.
By the end of the exhibit over 1500 confessions were displayed on the walls and not surprisingly, over half were about sex, love, or fears of dying alone.
